Copywriting

When writing copy, I focus on mood, word precision, simplicity, clarity of meaning, and originality. I prize genuine thought and clear intention over generic marketing jargon, wanting, above all, to create something that entices the reader and evokes a strong image that is instantly recognisable and relatable.

I have over four years’ professional copywriting experience, and have produced website copywriting, product and sales copywriting, blog posts and marketing copywriting, SEO copy, digital advertising copy, social media content and eDMs. I can adapt to a multitude of styles, tones and marketing needs and am always keen to be challenged and broaden my scope.

My freelance copywriting rate is $60 per hour.

Editing and Proofreading

I am an efficient copyeditor with a sharp eye for detail. I am happy to look at short or long-form text: essays, CVs, reports, short fiction, novels, memoirs, websites—whatever you need.

Most of my editing experience has been in copyediting (correcting punctuation, spelling, grammar and expression for a piece that is already quite polished), however, I can also advise you on structure and overall cohesion.

My freelance editing rate is $55 per hour.

Humanities Tutoring

I am a warm, engaging and passionate tutor who is happy to assist primary, secondary (including VCE), tertiary and ESL students in subjects such as English, Literature, History, Drama, Film and Theatre Studies.

I can help with essay-crafting, literary/dramatic text analysis, creative writing, text comparisons, media analysis, general writing and clarity of expression, grammar/spelling/punctuation basics, oral presentations and performance.

My freelance tutoring rate is $60 per hour.

I acknowledge the Bunurong and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples as being the first and ongoing storytellers, artists, scientists and educators of the sacred lands and waterways on which I write and live. I pay my respects to their elders, past and present. These lands remain unceded.
